Hi my name is Emily and I'm one of the Adventurers teachers. I grew up in San Diego and moved to Oregon in 2020; I've truly enjoy living in such a beautiful state. I got my degree in psychology at Cal State San Marcos with an emphasis on child development. Afterwards, I started my teaching journey in 2021 as a teacher in a Pre K classroom. After about 6 months, I started teaching three and four year olds and fell in love with it. In August of 2023, I started as a teacher at Olum in the Adventurer's classroom. I really enjoy the excitement and curiosity that these little ones have to offer. In the classroom I'm usually on the floor with them reading books, building blocks or having dance parties!
