I have been working as an educator since the year 2001. I received my undergraduate degree in the year 2000 in Journalism and Communications with a minor in English, and my graduate degree in Educational Policy and Management from the University of Oregon in 2002. I earned a teaching certificate as well in 2001.

Since then, I have had the pleasure to work with children in preschool through eighth grade with a focus on the primary grades (Pre-K through 3^rd).  I really enjoy providing a rich learning environment for children and encouraging them in their endeavors. I’m so excited to be a part of the team at Vivian Olum Child Development Center and look forward to partnering with parents to ensure their children have the support they need in which to thrive!
