I am Michaela, the Dreamers opening teacher. I grew up in Springfield, Oregon and graduated from the University of Oregon in 2021 with a Bachelor's degree in Economics. I have been at Vivian Olum since 2017 when I started as a student, and have had the opportunity to work with all of the age groups in one capacity or another. Most recently, I was a lead teacher in the 1-2 year old classroom, but moved to working with infants 2023. Outside of work, I enjoy painting, spending time in nature, and taking care of plants. I am passionate about bringing art and nature into the classroom.
