I’ve been a long-term sub for Vivian Olum since May 2019. I’ve been a Eugenian for 8 years and graduated from the UO in 2016 with a BA in Family and Human Services and Spanish. I have worked with children aged 6 weeks to 12 years for the past 10 years, including as a lead preschool teacher/case worker, one-on-one support for children with special physical and behavioral needs, and a lead toddler teacher. Toddlers are my favorite age, as we get to watch them build language and socioemotional skills, relationships, independence, and confidence through play. In my free time, I love to sing, play outside with my partner and dog, and train in Olympic weightlifting.
I am currently in my second year of the LCC nursing program, and I am so grateful to be part of the Olum family as I continue my journey to becoming a pediatric RN.
