I was born in Seattle, Washington and moved to Eugene the summer before my high school freshman year. After graduating, I attended Early Childhood Education courses at Lane Community College until the Covid pandemic hit in 2020. My career choices have always been related to childcare, from when I started working at the After School Club LLC. with  children aged K-5, to my last job at an in-home daycare with babies, toddlers and preschoolers. I may be new to Olum, but I have spent years within the Eugene community and with all of its wonderful families!

I am passionate about creating a safe, student centric learning environment for children of all ages. I encourage lots of growth through play, art, music, and thoughtful conversation. Watching children make new connections and accomplish more independently (usually while joyfully laughing), are some of my favorite parts of being a teacher. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my partner, and baking together in our kitchen!
