I was born and raised in Springfield, Oregon, and have been at Olum since 2018. I was a Child and Family Studies Major at Portland State University before moving back to Eugene to attend the UO as an environmental studies major! I then worked in office administration in a dental office and then as a catering and sales manager for a large hotel, but I knew that I would not be totally fulfilled unless I could work with children in some way. Working for Olum has brought my professional experience with my love of children together in one place! I have also now completed all of my required trainings and certifications to be an assistant teacher in the classrooms, which has been amazing for me, as that is where my heart truly is…with the children! Watching these amazing kiddos grow and learn and play every day, brings me so much joy. In my free time, I love anything outside and in the sunshine! Hiking, kayaking, gardening, barbequing with friends, and spending as much time as possible with family. My husband and I are high school sweethearts that have been together almost 15 years and he’s still my favorite person on the planet!
