I was born and raised in Eugene, Oregon, and have been a part of the Olum family since 2021. I believe teaching children is the most rewarding job. Seeing them use the language and tools we teach them to help each other makes my heart glow! Before Olum, I was a teacher at a small center for almost two years, as well as being a nanny and helping out with babysitting since I was twelve. My favorite part about being a teacher is being outside and doing art with them! I’m also very passionate about music and love introducing new sounds and songs. My current hobby (especially during the pandemic) is knitting baby blankets for expecting parents.
