Be inspired by the instrumental and vocal performances at the Bach Festival. Visit the UO School of Music for an in depth and hands-on experience with various instruments. Make your own instruments, write lyrics to songs, and end the week with a musical concert.
WEEK TWO: JUNE 29-July 2(Closed July 3)
A TASTE OF SUMMER
Experience the summer through food with a visit to Farmer's Market to gather produce to make our own culinary creations. Plan and create a cafe, prepare and then serve your delicacies. At the end of the week we'll kick things up a notch with an Iron Chef competition!

WEEK THREE: JULY 6-10
CREATIVITY AT YOUR FINGERTIPS
Tour the Jordan Schnitzer Art Museum. Immerse yourself in the visual art on the University of Oregon campus. Be inspired as young artists to use clay, fimo, and other mediums as you scult and mold your way through the week.
WEEK FOUR: JULY 13-17
ECO-EXPLORERS
Explore Mt. Pisgah and nearby Hendricks Park. Hold your own energy summit and discover ways to perserve our natural environment and reduce our carbon footprint! Finish the week with a visit to the Museum of Natural & Cultural History for a hands-on experience.
Visit the Raptor Center to begin an exploration of the wild animals we often see in and around Lane County. Expand your understanding of domestic animals with a visit to Greenhill Animal Shelter. Collect and deliver items to help support the care of rescued animals at the shelter. Enjoy an animal scavenger hunt while on hikes and walks in the area.
WEEK SIX: JULY 27-31
OCEAN COMMOTION
Discover the wonders of the oceans from plankton to sharks and whales. Create dioramas, make your own tidepool, create art from sand, and visit the zebra fish facility on campus.

WEEK SEVEN: AUGUST 3-7
TO INFINITY AND BEYOND
Space, the final frontier...visit the planetarium and Science Factory to learn about the stars and constellations. Combine art with space to create your own planets, rockets, and stars.
WEEK EIGHT: AUGUST 10-14
ART-RAGEOUS!
Be inspired by an art walk of galleries in downtown Eugene. Find out how artist and author, Margaux Meganck, turned her art into a children's book. Create your own art and book!

WEEK NINE: AUGUST 17-21
GEPPETTO'S WORLD
Create your own puppets. Write your own script and songs. Perform a puppet show using our beautiful new puppet theatre for parents at the end of the week.
WEEK TEN: AUGUST 24-28
WILD AND WACKY WATER
Discover the mysteries of water by conducting experiments that explore the power, sound, and work that water can do. Observe the wonder of water at the Leaburg Dam. Make bubbles of all shapes and sizes and construct waterways out of gutters and pipes. End the week with a splash at SPLASH! waterpark.

The weekly fee includes field trips, transportation on LTD buses, and weekly swimming at Amazon Pool.

LUNCH, SNACKS AND ESSENTIALS
A light breakfast, snacks, milk and water
are provided by the Center. Children need to bring a portable bag
lunch from home to accommodate field trips, and impromptu picnics.
It is ESSENTIAL that children bring water
bottles, sunscreen, and comfortable walking shoes everyday. Each Thursday children will go swimming at the Amazon Community Pool and will need a swim suit and towel. An extra change of clothes
will come in handy when our projects get "hands-on"..
